Feng Shui Your Home Office!

Now I am very excited to get started on this weeks special! I'll be sharing how to Feng Shui your house, a room for each day. So what better way than to start with your office? I'm specifically going to talk about for your Home office. I know how important it is for everyone to separate your business  from your personal life. Now having an office at home make's it more the merrier especially if you Feng Shui for a more productive and creative environment. So let's get started!

Off the bat we are gonna start with the basics! By using a Bagua Map. Think of this as a general blue print for any Feng Shui.
How to Feng Shui Your Desk: Bagua Map

Have Your Office far from your Bedroom

Who would of thought? It surely never crossed my mind! If it's a bit difficult to do hence to the house layout, just make as much division as possible.

Have Your Desk Face Directly Opposite the Office Door
FENG SHUI OFFICE
According to the principles of Feng Shui, this type of arrangement offers protection and symbolizes you seeing opportunity as they come to you during your career endeavor. You have to see the opportunities in order to seize them.

Make Room for Creativity
FENG SHUI OFFICE

Organize that clutter! Make it more simple for your mind and office. Bring a little spazaz by using your oh so awesome style. It is suggested to organize by date or category, using colored binders if you like a lot of color. Getting organized can boost productivity, while everything is de-cluttered it allows your creativity to flow wild.

Create a Desk for Success
How to Feng Shui Your Desk: Desk for Success
Imagine the desktop divided into a nine-part grid, as in the bagua map shown above. Choose several areas of your life that could use a little boost, and use the following tips to attract good energy to those areas. Each section is associated with a color, and you can use objects of that color if you have them. Just don’t go overboard—remember, clutter blocks creativity, so at least 50 percent of the desktop should be clear at all times. Don’t focus on all nine sections; instead, select two to three priorities.
  1. Wealth and Prosperity The back left corner of the desk represents prosperity. Target this space to attract money and abundance. It’s a great place for a plant, but if your green thumb is more on the brown side, consider placing a valuable item (such as a crystal vase or jar of change) in this corner. This could also be a good spot for a (well-functioning) computer.
  2. Fame and Reputation Want more than 15 minutes in the spotlight? In the center back of the bagua map, you’ll find the space for fame. Place business cards or a nameplate here. Cerrano also recommends “motivational images that highlight who you are and your accomplishments” (think: a photo of your first marathon finish or your hard-earned diploma).
  3. Love and Relationships To find a little love today (or in the future), focus on the back right corner. Single? A fresh flower, which can bring luck and maybe even spark romance, goes here. Already have a special someone? Place a photo of the two of you here.
  4. Family Although it’s a cliché desktop feature, a family photo, according to feng shui principles, fits well on the left center of the desk. A wood frame enhances the energy of this particular space.
  5. Health Although sitting at a desk doesn’t do much for your health, there are a few ways to promote health even while working. Keep the center area of the desktop free of clutter to attract good energy to the area. In addition, Cerrano recommends taking short breaks throughout the day to reduce stress and maintain focus.
  6. Creativity Boost creativity by adding inspiration to the right center of the grid. Aspiring writers, place a journal or book here. A blank sketchbook would be ideal for artists, while a metal object may work well for others. But really, anything goes—just get creative!
  7. Knowledge and Wisdom Struggling to learn new material, or just want to be wise beyond your years? Focus on the front left corner of the desk. Place a reference book (or maybe a picture of Albert Einstein) here.
  8. Career Front and center is the career space—definitely appropriate for a desk. Keep this spot free of clutter. Cerrano suggests displaying affirmations or motivational quotes around the office; this would be a great place to stick one of those.
  9. Helpful People and Travel If you’re in need of a little help from your friends, focus on the front right section. This is a good spot to put a phone or an address book (do people use those anymore?). This area also represents travel, so a travel guide or a photo of a dream vacation locale would work well here.
Proper Feng Shui Energy

  • South area (Fame and Reputation), or, a more exact translation, your "Light in the World." Its feng shui energy is Fire, so be mindful about nor having color blue, big mirrors, fountains or images of water in this area, as Water element puts down the Fire energy.
  • North area (Career or Path in Life). The feng shui element here is Water, so this is the feng shui area for items representing water, as well as Metal (Metal creates Water in the feng shui 5 elements cycle.) Without making it sound too complicated, you can place inspiring images related to your career in black or white frame colors in the North area of your home office.
  • Southeast area (Prosperity and Abundance). Bring images or items that speak to you ofmoney and abundance. The feng shui element here is Wood, so you need to avoid Fire images, as well as too much Metal.
Use Appropriate Art Work

Surround yourself with images that keep you inspired, creative and productive! Add pictures, or motto's that symbolize what you want to accomplish. Chose furniture that screams out to you success and prosperity. Objects should reflect the transformation you desire. And have up to date achievements, so remove your old certificates for more  And of course add plant's!

You Must Have Commitment!

How many of you start something head on? How many of you start to lose focus, faith, and confidence? I'm WAY guilty of this! We're only human, it happens!
We can get all hyped about something, then end up not pulling through. You know why?
We lost the commitment we made to OURSELVES. You can't just hit a bump in the road and back all the way out. What's the point? That means your going to have to
work harder and harder each time you set yourself up to fail. Even if it ended up not being your
kind of thing, I get that too. But how do we really know it wasn't for us?
Did you put your self all out and really really try?
If so then you may have the upper hand.
There a articles about this for MILES. I've pretty much read all of them listened to everyone.
They were never wrong, you know who was wrong though, me.
I swear to goodness gracious I trip myself over the stupidest shit,
then I start to lose my focus, then my faith, and confidence.
But we all know we have to have a why. There is always the WHY and that's really were you have to put your COMMITMENT. My why is my FAMILY.
I want to set up Stella so where she never has to worry about anything financially.
I mean seriously isn't that what we all want for our kids,
to make them not go through the worry of getting your lights and water shut off, and dining on cheese puffs. I could go ON!

Your going to have to have those four things to be fully on top of it!
Hope this is a good lil' pick me up if you feel like your losing at your own game.

Sweet Rambles: Spring time!

Man good things have been happening!
One, I signed up for the Merrily we Meet program at the Suncoast Waldorf for Stella!
Can't wait to start going. Two, It's Spring time!
Like I said in a previous post
Florida kinda skipped over it so it still feels like summer
but its one of the best seasons of the year. Definitely lots of planting and setting up the garden!
An other merrily things.
Oh big things are gonna happen for the next 90 day's too.
I'm not going to share with you all yet but I'll definitely be blogging it.

I always do meditation right after my yoga in the morning,
and it's usually just right around the time the Stella wakes up.
So, I never really get the deep meditation I'm looking for.
But since this 21 Day Manifest Success Meditation with Deepak
I've been feeling fantastic! Even it's only been three day's.
I can't imagine what it's going to be like at the end.
And I don't think I'll ever stop after this. I even get so relaxed
I get a little snore out even though I'm fully aware of everything.

Clear Your Mind

I honestly didn't know what to write about today, but then, I realized  I've been kicking myself in the butt lately. Not literally but mentally. Honestly, I do this ever so often not really thinking about it. Recently reading a few great post about The Power of Law of Attraction and Afformations to Change Your Life.
It made me think. I already know about the Law of Attraction, I dig it very much, but I don't do it or think it to myself as often as I use too. I fell off that wagon. Now it's time to get back on.
Instead of bitching about it as my ego want's to, I have to take control of it. It's only difficult if you think it's difficult, hence it will become more difficult. I hope that made sense lol.

I want to share with you all what I wrote down in my Journal.
I want you to repeat this to yourself too.

Relax and breath. You are beautiful (or handsome)
You are unique, you accept good things to come.
You are filled with positive energy,
so much that it burns away the negative.
What you think is what you become.
So think carefully.
You speak what you think into existence.

Be free, be yourself, be different, be fun,
 be cautious, but be wild.
You live everyday,
so live your life with purpose.
There is no time to waste,
so fill your life with love and happiness.
Tell the universe, yourself,
you ask and receive with open arms.
You know what you want and
what you need and you always find a way.
You are happy.
You are aware of the power you
have and you are not afraid to use it.

And of course over all things remember it's going to be Okay.

If you enjoyed this little post tell me in the commented below!
Thank you! :)

Will you Fail?

I read a pretty powerful blog post yesterday, written by the one and only
(you are required to read it so that you may understand my rambles)
Post Image
Click Picture to go to post.

Just amaze balls! Can you believe it! 97% of people around the whole world set themselves up for failure. If you read my moms post you can see how far someone can get until they are inches away from their victory.
Then Bam all of a sudden your Hope Meter goes down a smidget,
Then slowly decreases. You start too lose a bit of faith just as your success is in arms reach. You can not allow it! This is were many people give up, this is the moment you need to work your hardest. You have to make a decision, will you be the 97% or part of the 3%.
This is where most of us needs to get that extra push, whether you talk to your best friend, parents, who ever you look up too,
They will tell you what you need to hear to move forward. And if you don't have anyone to talk to or you just keep hearing things that make you say "I won't go forward."
Message me on any of my social media's I'll set ya straight! lol
Overall never give up no matter what just don't.

Well Guess What!

I may still not be able to function all that right, lol but, I woke up bright and early!
I set my alarm for 5:45am but officially woke up around 6:10am. I didn't do everything that I planned, but I did however, do morning Yoga, organize Stella's drawers, and take an awesome shower! Guess what? Everyone was sleeping all cozy and I was happily up and a boot. This is where alone time becomes vital people, especially parents and always on the run people. I am now discovering that. Took me a bit, but I'm oddly gonna say, I am going to become a morning person.
I mean, I did always see myself as the person who woke up early and went for a morning run, come home take a bath, have tea/coffee and read a book on the porch.. Yupp that's how I see myself. The only way to become that is to actually do it!
So, here I am listening to Mozart having morning tea, and blogging to you feeling all fresh and clean ready to start the day. Stella happens to still be asleep so I actually have a but of time to make us Eggs in Cloud Click that link I think you'll enjoy that!

Hope You all have a beautiful day!
Tell me, do you plan on changing your daily routine?

30 Day Squat/Crunches Challenge: Day 2- Holy Crap

Day 2: August 7th, 2014

Workouts: 12 Min. Yoga
                  55 Squats
                  25 Crunches

What in the hell these squats are gonna kick my ass even more than the last ones, but I must attack those inner thighs with force lol. The Yoga felt quite nice as always, and I have a much better formation on the crunches. I guess I was trying too push myself too hard yesterday on them, silly me.
Update on my eating. I have been doing great making sure I have my breakfast and lunch after the workout. I'm feeling pretty great.

Much Love,
Sara Litardo

31 Day Squat Challenge: Day 7- Ohh Wee

Day 7: August 9th, 2014

Workout: 10 min. Lower Abs
                90 Squats

Holy moly cow bells! Today was fantabulous. I did skip out on the walk in the morning, oops, but it still was a very productive day. I swear the Lower Ab Workout  is kickin' my bum even more than day 1. Oh boy does the burn feel good haha. Then it twas on to the 90 squats. I really started feelin' it when I hit the 75 mark. All in all it was pretty freakin' awesome.
Food update, I have been really good on keeping everything pretty balanced. Of course my breakfast is the biggest part of the day, and it just flows on with my other meals. We always ate pretty good in the house, but everything has just gotten better. I've been doing a lot better too about midnight snacks. I use to have like a whole new meal but now it's actually snacks and between fruits or nibbling on some amazing pretzel chips. If you've never had the pretzel chips, you're missing out haha.
Much luck to everyone on their workout journey!
Oh and I found this picture quite amusing.

31 Day Squat Challenge: Day 3- Reasons

Day 3: August 5th, 2014

Biceps: 16 1/2 in.

Workout: 15 Walk
                10 Min. Abs
                75 Squats

Had another great start of the day. Woke up and instead of going around one block I went around two. The lower ab workout is starting to kick me ars a bit, same with the squats Such an awesome feelin.
The reason why I started this challenge, not only to get back on track, but to do something that I usually don't ever do. Yoga has always been a part of my life and always gives me amazing energy and results. But I wanted to shorten my yoga time and really focus on my legs, ass, and lower abs on this challenge. I'm defiantly going to continue this workout for the long run. I already have my next challenge ready for when I am done with these 31 days.
At the moment, of course, I am not using any weights. I currently don't have any but who know's I may be able to add weights sometime during the month. At least 5lb weights would be pretty great. I never noticed how my arms work while doing squats. So for now my arm weight are good enough weights for sure.

31 Day Squat Challenge: Day 2- Too Soon?

Day 2: August 4th,2014

Workout: 10 min. walk
                10 min. lower ab
                50 Squats

Today was another refreshing day. Not to jinx but my legs surprisingly  don't hurt as bad as I thought they would. Too Soon? Probably haha. It's funny that now I have a new routine, like when to eat, I feel like I have much more time during the day. When before I wasn't keeping track of anything, and way more tired/lazy, the day's flew by.
If you're doing this challenge with me comment below, other than the squats what else are you adding on? How have you changed your daily routine?
I would love to see all your stories!
Remember to keep on smiling <3

Why I am an Entrepreneur.

I'm going to tell you a brief bit of my history and why I am an entrepreneur. I grew up watching both my mother and father stuggling with their jobs. Watching them 'just get by' on paying the bills. Watching my mom come home crying because of the pain she was going through physically and mentally. Going to amscot to 'help us' get that bill paid. They were very tough times. As I was worked in the job field for only so long of my life, I realized this just isn't for me, this is not what I want to become by trading my time for money that wasn't even enough to help. Not  even able to enjoy the money I earned and I was working for someone elses dream, not mine. I appreciate everything my mom has done but I did not want to end up in my parents position. Why work so hard for someone else when you can work as hard for your own dream. Im proud to say my mom took a stand and fired her boss in febuary of 2011! It was a tough decision but she did it and became independent and started working on herself. Watching her do this just gave me more motivation to follow my dreams. She showed me that it is never to late to start over.

As an entrepreneur there are obstacles and many times where you gotta step outta your comfort zone to succeed to that next step. Personally for me I had a procrastination problem. I would want to do something and just be to scared too, my old shyness would get in my way. I couldn't even talk to family about what I have been up to as an entrepreneur. I was TERRIFIED of rejection and people not taking me seriously. I had to stop holding myself back from the success that was ahead of me. I am a recovering procrastinator. I do not take any (excuse my language) bull shit from myself anymore, I do not hear excuses anymore. I also don't listen to anyone else excuses. I have learned that excuses are "well thought out lies". Tis' the hard truth.

So with all that being said, this is that path I create. I takes courage and lots of faith. I have that courage and faith, I have many supporters around me who believe in me and my dreams and don't judge me. Those are the people I surround myself with. You must only surround yourself with positive people.

So what I would like to encourage you to do is ask yourself a few simple questions.
" Do you trade your time for money,do you leverage your time for money?"
" do you hesitate when you want to do something, or do you act on it?"
" Do you project your old pain into your present day, or do you turn your lessons into gold?"
"Do you believe that you deserve to give more?"
"How do you feel when you see someone you perceive as successful?"
"Are you ready to take action now to improve your life?"
