31 Day Squat Challenge: No Day- Crazy Things

I have missed two day's! I know I didn't want to miss any day's but shit happens. I tell ya what, I did a major clean in a house and I walked in total 4.5 Miles. Now, It probably wouldn't have kicked my ass so much if I wasn't Boot-Skoot-N-Boogying (speed walking) the whole time. That definitely kicked my butt and I am sure feeling it.
I am getting back on track to the days I missed, so for tomorrow I'll be on day 8!
In the mean time think about this...

31 Day Squat Challenge: Day 4- Oops

Day 4: August 6th, 2014

                 10 min. lower abs

Overall today was a pretty good day. So, I didn't talk about what goal I plan to reach at the end of this challenge. I want to at least 1 good inch from every all the places I measured. I want my weight to  possibly go down 5 lbs. So who know's it may be more it may be less but I'm excited either way!

31 Day Squat Challenge: Day 3- Reasons

Day 3: August 5th, 2014

Biceps: 16 1/2 in.

Workout: 15 Walk
                10 Min. Abs
                75 Squats

Had another great start of the day. Woke up and instead of going around one block I went around two. The lower ab workout is starting to kick me ars a bit, same with the squats Such an awesome feelin.
The reason why I started this challenge, not only to get back on track, but to do something that I usually don't ever do. Yoga has always been a part of my life and always gives me amazing energy and results. But I wanted to shorten my yoga time and really focus on my legs, ass, and lower abs on this challenge. I'm defiantly going to continue this workout for the long run. I already have my next challenge ready for when I am done with these 31 days.
At the moment, of course, I am not using any weights. I currently don't have any but who know's I may be able to add weights sometime during the month. At least 5lb weights would be pretty great. I never noticed how my arms work while doing squats. So for now my arm weight are good enough weights for sure.

Let's Show Mom We Can Do It!

I know it has been WAY too long since I've last made a post. But this one is specifically for my dearest mother. If I were to point out some one who is a hard worker, a mentor, motivational, awe inspiring woman it would be my mom. She is a Network Social Media Marketer and she's a hell of a person. She is literally working all day an mostly during the wee hours of the night. Currently she is using my laptop to do most of her business. As I do not mind her using my computer at all. I feel that she deserves the best of the best. She has always wanted a Mac Book Pro since forever and I want to do that for her. I currently do not have the currency  to get this wonderful gift for her. So I figured why not make a Go Fund Me right? I see people all day doing Go Fund Me for all sorts of donations that I think are wonderful and amazing and I wanted to make one for her. So I did.

Even if you do not donate I will appreciate it if you spread the word with me and get one goal at a time. I honestly love this lady more than anything in the world (besides my little munchkin of course) but because she has helped me through thick and thin and been my best supporter all the way through.
Thank you all for donations an spreading the word, YOU are awesome and lovely.

"Accepting" That Your Overweight.

I had a conversation once with someone while we were doing clothes shopping. We talked about how its nice to be able to go to a store and have the comfort of fitting in these clothes. We were in the Plus size clothing store. The woman I was talking to was telling me how she has been overweight all her life and accepted this at the age of 13, she is now almost 32 or so (still overweight). I was around 15 or 16 when I had this conversation. I thought in my head at the time, well maybe I should just accept the fact that I'm overweight and I'm never going to move from this situation. Also, at the time I didn't know "accepting" was sweet for "giving up". So, I "accepted" the fact that I was overweight.
During this acceptance I did learn something. That being big is beautiful in its own way. I actually started seeing myself a differently. Stepped up my confidence a bit too. Now I did know that being this overweight wasn't healthy, at all. I had the weight in my stomach too, which is the worst place to have it. It's like the place where all sorts of shit can go wrong. So, during this I did learn to also watch what I eat. Like had way less fast foods, more home cooked meals, less soda, more water. I even jogged around the bayou almost every night. Then we moved to a different town. I started doing yoga everyday. Now I wasn't really doing this at the time to lose all my weight but just to be more healthy within my body. That went on and off for maybe a year.

Mom and I started becoming more greenie. We joined horticulture classes at Pay It Forward Farm in Spring Hill, Florida. During the class we said eh, we want to make and edible garden business and so we started with our own yard first. We did a whole transformation of the front yard into vegetables and flowers to attract butterflies, bees, etc. Then we said AH! There is so much more life why give up on our weight and stop ourselves from doing things we really want to do in life: like surfing and free running. We took a ginormous step and said F-this lets do a 30 day raw food juice fast. HOLY MOLY! This was so hard, I never realized how much I loved cooked vegetables. We did it! For that thirty days that's all we had. I lost 23 lbs! I started at 227 and ended 204! Now this was a booster for me. I was proud of myself for accomplishing this goal and that it wasn't an easy one. We continued enjoy the raw veggies with foods we created during our fast. I was defiantly enjoying food flavors more too.
I was able to maintain a my weight at 210 -213. Now I wasn't disappointed that I gained some weight back. Of course I was going too! I wasn't going to stay raw forever haha. Then about, I don't know, some months later I was back to 220. Again I wasn't mad, I could of prevented me gaining most of the weight back by keeping up more exercise etc. I am still very proud of myself for not gaining it ALL back. No matter how close I was to the original weight I wasn't there and I was happy. Then my mom and I started taking Body by Vi: 90 Day Health Challenge. She started her challenge in November of 2011 on a Shape Kit. Which is replacing two meals a day with a ViSalus shake. Now I was taking her shakes on her 90 day challenge. I lost a total of 22lbs! I broke the 200 mark. This was easy! Our whole family actually lost weight on her 90 day challenge. My mom lost 13, my boyfriend lost 30, and my nana lost 45. A total of 110 lbs in our family on only ONE kit! Mom put her foot down and said OK ya'll need your own kit and that she wanted to see more of her results. So I am now on a Shape kit so is Nana and my boyfriend is working one his.
Now that I found out I am pregnant in January I have been having the shakes not as meal replacements but as a add on. I have been gaining weight at a proper weight which is 3-4 lbs a month. I started at 195 and I am now 212. This is great! I am getting all the nutrition I need for me and my baby. I have no signs of gestational diabetes and I get my kit for free. Now this is huge! I am saving money while getting all the nutrition I need. I have the "body" of  a healthy person. I do yoga and walk every morning. I haven't stopped. After I have my baby My weight will just fall off of me and I will be where I want to be in no time. (120lbs) Once Stella is out I will also be adding on new exercise routines like start jogging, intense crossfit, more yoga, roller skating and so much more! By this time I will upgrade to the Fit kit to gain lean muscle mass lose my weight and be the sexy fit girl I've always dreamed at the age of 20.
I am not giving up, I will not be in my thirty's and be the heaviest I've ever been. I will be the most fit person I've always saw myself as. So no matter how old you are don't give up! You know you want to be healthy! You want to live a longer life for yourself and for your loved ones. Now is the time to act. Stop holding yourself back from an amazing opportunity of a lifetime. Why I am an Entrepreneur.

I'm going to tell you a brief bit of my history and why I am an entrepreneur. I grew up watching both my mother and father stuggling with their jobs. Watching them 'just get by' on paying the bills. Watching my mom come home crying because of the pain she was going through physically and mentally. Going to amscot to 'help us' get that bill paid. They were very tough times. As I was worked in the job field for only so long of my life, I realized this just isn't for me, this is not what I want to become by trading my time for money that wasn't even enough to help. Not  even able to enjoy the money I earned and I was working for someone elses dream, not mine. I appreciate everything my mom has done but I did not want to end up in my parents position. Why work so hard for someone else when you can work as hard for your own dream. Im proud to say my mom took a stand and fired her boss in febuary of 2011! It was a tough decision but she did it and became independent and started working on herself. Watching her do this just gave me more motivation to follow my dreams. She showed me that it is never to late to start over.

As an entrepreneur there are obstacles and many times where you gotta step outta your comfort zone to succeed to that next step. Personally for me I had a procrastination problem. I would want to do something and just be to scared too, my old shyness would get in my way. I couldn't even talk to family about what I have been up to as an entrepreneur. I was TERRIFIED of rejection and people not taking me seriously. I had to stop holding myself back from the success that was ahead of me. I am a recovering procrastinator. I do not take any (excuse my language) bull shit from myself anymore, I do not hear excuses anymore. I also don't listen to anyone else excuses. I have learned that excuses are "well thought out lies". Tis' the hard truth.

So with all that being said, this is that path I create. I takes courage and lots of faith. I have that courage and faith, I have many supporters around me who believe in me and my dreams and don't judge me. Those are the people I surround myself with. You must only surround yourself with positive people.

So what I would like to encourage you to do is ask yourself a few simple questions.
" Do you trade your time for money,do you leverage your time for money?"
" do you hesitate when you want to do something, or do you act on it?"
" Do you project your old pain into your present day, or do you turn your lessons into gold?"
"Do you believe that you deserve to give more?"
"How do you feel when you see someone you perceive as successful?"
"Are you ready to take action now to improve your life?"

Oh happy day!

Tis been a long time since my last post! Im going to give you the run down of the past few months.

First things first! I have no camera!!! Ahhh. I thought my whole world was gonna crumble. Well not really, but I have been missing taking pictures whenever I see something insanely amazing, which is most of the time. So, what I have been doing is taking pictures from the phone and using this instgram. I love it! At first I was a lil' eh about it for some strange reason. Who cares its fun and simple to use!

Yesterday my mom and I went on a nice walk with our doggies. It was way hot here down in Florida! So, as we are literally a block away from the house, there was this random puddle on the corner of the street a good 5 inches deep. My dog, Addisson, took one look at it and it was on. She started rolling around  like crazy having a blast! Getting covered in mud with who knows what with that big dumb bully smile on her face. Some lady stopped by in her car and said seeing that made her day! It was just too stinkin adorable. My moms dog, charlie, tried to fit it he went as far as just laying on his belly for a second then getting back up. Rolling around wasn't his thing. After a gods 5 minuets of Addisson having all the fun she could have in that puddle we walked back home and she was just too damn happy being covered in all that mud.

Oh also something new, I'm pregnant! I'm have a baby girl and her name is going to be Stella Tara Lynn Debouse. I am 23 weeks, almost 6 months! I found out on my birthday, january 24th. Oh whatta surprise that was! It has been such an amazing experience. Its just really neat to feel my Stella moving around, and to know that my body is working its magic to make my baby grow. I have decided to do a water birth at a midwife birth center in Dunedin called Labor of Love. Everything has been great this place is beautiful! Just what I have been looking for. The midwife is just amazing and everyone at that place is so helpful. I will show pictures next post!
Another great thing is my baby and I are completely healthy! Thanks to ViSalus! Their shakes have helped me maintain a healthy weight gain, which is 3-4lbs a month. My blood sugar levels are great everything else is just phenomenal. I have diabetes that runs in my family and being already obese I was scared to get gestational diabetes during my pregnancy. But since I've lost 22 lbs before my pregnancy, been able to maintain the healthy weight gain, been able to keep energy and workout (yoga, walk and crossfit) and been having healthier choices naturally. I have NO signs any where on getting gestational diabetes.

That goes onto my next thing on what I do for a living! Well, I don't think that may be the right word for it. Hell there are really no words to describe something so amazing. I promote total well being with americas #1 health challenge ! This is how I roll! I help people change their lives one 90 day challenge at a time, whether its to help them lose weight, gain lean muscle mass, maintain nutrition,  enhance their athletic performance, or help them financially! This is litterally for anybody and Any Body. In my family alone and on my moms first 90 day challenge we lost a total combined of 107 lbs! I lost 22 lbs, my mom lost 13, my nana lost 45, and my boyfriend lost 30! This was my MOMS first 90 day challenge on her shape kit. Then my mom put her foot down and said ' Ok everyone needs their own kit!' So we did. So to this day my nana has lost a total of 75lbs, mom 20 lbs, my boyfriend 35. We are all on our own kit, except  my boyfriend which he will be soon. This has also changed our lives financially my mom Wrote it the best way in her blog!

Thats what has been mainly going on and it has been an amazing ride! I will defiantly be posting a lot more about my progress with my baby, my company, my photography and much much more!
