Clean Your Body

It's pretty vital to clean out your body from all the toxins. Whether you drink soda, or add sugar to your coffee. It's really good to just give your body re-start with a cleanse and really work towards your health. Hence since it's time to do your Spring cleaning, might as well clean out your body too! I'm going to share a few step with you to help you towards your health when you may be having a bit of a tough time. I know I've changed a few things that I thought I would never with out. It's crazy what can happen when you set your mind on something.

Number One: Set Your Mind Straight
First ask yourself, Whats your overall goal? Why?
I can tell you enough how important your Why is. If reading a number on a scale helps you reach your life long goal, or being a better parent, your more likely to stick to your goal.
Once you've figured out your why, have that be the first thing you think about every step!
An awesome way to keep your mind straight is to create a vision board. I friggin' love creating vision boards! It's a lot of fun to do by yourself to really have a visualization of what you are setting yourself up for. Don't be scared Get creative! Make sure you hang it up some where you can see it at all times.

Number Two: Go Crazy For Your Nutrition!
Clean out your pantry and change up your grocery list to how ever far you can get. Change little things at a time if needed. For example switch your soda to water, coffee for tea, eggs to free range, sugar to honey, etc. Get rid of the empty calories and artificial flavors and colors. Get that 20-40 grams of high quality protein per-meal. The more you put good food in your body the more your body will crave it. If you don't feel like prepping your meals once a week a great way to start is on a nutritional system to get rid of your unwanted pounds or gain that lean muscle and get rid of the harmful toxins. A healthy lifestyle is all about diet and exercise. Hey if you live with your family have them to join you on your journey and plus it will make it easier not to cheat lol.

Number Three: Move it!
“The link between exercise and mood is pretty strong,” Michael Otto, Ph.D., told Monitor on Psychology in 2011 . “Usually within five minutes after moderate exercise you get a mood-enhancement effect.”
The best workout is the one you actually do! Go join a class, start taking walks around the neighborhood, or start working in the yard. Find something that suits you and stop finding excuses to not start or continue.
Number Four: Share Your Goals
The best way to reach your goals is to make them SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely). Once you have identified your goals share them! Don't keep them to yourself until you've completed your goals, that's no fun! Get your cheer-leading squad rounded up!
Research performed by Dr. Gail Matthews, a clinical psychologist, found that participants who wrote down their goals achieved significantly more than those who only thought about their goals. And, those who wrote down action commitments (in addition to their goals) were even more likely to reach their goals.

But you can do better than that! The study participants who formulated action commitments, sent their goals and commitments to a supportive friend, AND sent weekly progress reports to that same friend were the most likely to reach their goals.

I...I'm Back on Track and Tea Time!

Yay! I have to say after these long long weeks of not really being able to do any fast paced exercise, I think I can finally get back to my squats! Thankfully the yoga I've been doing  has helped a lot but, if there is something I noticed while not doing any squats, is that my ass and thigh/calf muscles went down. Like Whoa what happen down. Day 1 down, I'm pretty happy right now. If you're new to my blog post a chart of a 30 day squat/crunches challenge.

Honestly every time I went to go back to the squats I felt like my heart and lungs were gonna explode. Freakin' ridiculous if you ask me. I'm still not quite over my, whatever the fuck I have. I have been consuming more tea and water! That helps a lot. I could probably use more veggies and fruits.
I will be going tea shopping! I thought I had all this tea, but if I'm drinking it. it's going away fast lol. Let me show you my list of Tea's I want to get and try.

Passion Flower Tea.
No freaking lie, I just now at this moment discovered that I can make this right now. We have Passion Flower's every where! Invasive little shit's they are, but now I know what I can make tea with them! Bwahahahaha.
This is great for anxiety or for people who do a lot of over thinking and just straight up too much going on in that brain. Perfect to have before bedtime so you can sleep with relaxed clear thoughts.

Oolong Tea.
This tea is a lovely fat burner! Raises your metabolism after 2 hours of drinking it, and also helps blockfat from building enzymes. I could love this tea very very much.

White Tea
This tea seems to be like an overall bad-ass. Prevents fat cells from forming and also fights against aging.
Ginger Tea
I Love Love ginger tea! Especially with a bit of honey I mean Yummy! This is a perfect anti-inflammatory, so if you have a headache this is the go to tea, gets rid of that pain right away.

Ginseng Tea
This tea seems to be another overall amazing thing!
Boost Immunity
Enhances your memory
Fights aging
And Increases you Libido :)

So these teas are just amazing right! I probably can't get all at the moment but definitely some. I've always loved tea and the many benefits each tea has, but I never really was a tea drinker. This is a fun change.

Tell me what are your thoughts?
Do you suggest any other tea's that I could of missed?
What kind of tea do you drink?

TFGBC: Day 5- Helpful Tips To Calm Your Toddler For Bed

*Disclaimer! I'm not an expert! All our Children are unique! These are things that help Stella and I for when she is feeling a bit groggy or having growing pains. I hope some of these tips help you! Tell me in the comments below your tips!*

When your little one is just in a so-tired-but-can't-sleep-mood these are some Helpful Tips on what I do to help Stella get a better sleep.
Lavender is Love!
I absolutely love lavender anything!
Lavender Wen hair products,
and Lavender Epson Salt.

Bath Time!
Usually about an hour or so before I set her down for bed I get  her bath ready.
Fill up that tub put that Epson Salt in there and throw them in the tub.
(DO NOT LITERALLY THROW IN TUB)lol
Turn on that YouTube and play some calming meditation while you give them a bath.
My favorite bath time song is HERE.
After she plays around for a bit I put the Conditioner in her hair and give her a head massage.
This loosens up her sinus's. Plus if you're using the Lavender Conditioner it give a tiny tingly smell.

After Bath Time!
Get what ever lotion you use.
I personally made my own lotion so if you want to do the same go HERE.
Give your little one a body massage!
Especially if they are going through some growing pains this helps wonders!
It loosens their muscles and relaxes their mind.

Time For Bed!
After all that soothing, before you set the little one down pour 2 or 3 drops of
the Essential Oil on the bed.
As they lay in their bed play some bedtime music.
For this I usually play classical music such as Mozart or Beethoven.
This one is my FAVORITE.
Also read to them! Your baby's imagination is running wild and they love to hear your voice and learn the tones.
My personal favorite is Oh The Places You'll Go by Dr. Suess.

I hope this helps you as much as is does me!
Tell me what you do!
Thanks for reading!

Much Love,Sara Litardo
