TFGBC: Day 6- Vulnerability Eh?

Oh Snap, Alex really got me with this one.
Well with out further a do I guess I'll get right too it!
Click picture for Artist.
"To Share Your weakness, is to make you vulnerable, to make you vulnerable is to show your strength."
I seriously waited a full day just thinking, what should I post?
Something that makes me Vulnerable?
I guess I could go right for the gut and just give the overall fun.
Golly, okay, you know this thing called Confidence?
That is who I want to be.
I've been working on that for quite some time now.
I cherish people who  have, how you say, the balls to get shit done!
For as long as I can remember my confidence got beat down.
Being obese for most of my life has been annoying really.
I now have been doing something about it for sometime and I am proud about how far I've gotten and where I'm going.

But as a kid? Where it mainly starts.
That shit struck me a bit harshly.
In school?
Not too bad overall everyone loved me.
I'm the damn sweetest person you will ever meet,
and if you lost your confidence,
I'm there to get you back on your feet.
I never really got Bullied in school.
I mean the occasional Fat Jokes.
Don't get me wrong it stung.
But I kinda got over it.
Where most of the good ol' emotional bullying came from was,
Oddly enough,
My dad and that side of the family.
I won't get into detail's.
And of course not every single person on that side,
But that's where all that low to no confidence level comes from.
I love my family with all my heart and I wouldn't change them for the world.
As I got older we've gotten much closer and continue to grow that.

This is where I need to build up.
I'm surrounded by the most strong and confident people and
it kinda blows my mind on how I don't build off of that.
I am making progress and I'm happy with how things are going.
I do need to make some changes still,
but I'm not perfect, not just yet,
I try not to look in the past often, and also try not to look too much into the future,
I'm trying to stay with the present and what I need to do each day to build back my confidence.
There are day's when it's completely BLAH but who doesn't have blah day's?

Now Here's to curing my Confidentitisness!
(Yes, I made that word up)
Thank you for who have read this.
Tell me your thoughts.
This is definitely a big step for me and a way outta my comfort zone.

Much Love,Sara Litardo

TFGBC: Day 5- Helpful Tips To Calm Your Toddler For Bed

*Disclaimer! I'm not an expert! All our Children are unique! These are things that help Stella and I for when she is feeling a bit groggy or having growing pains. I hope some of these tips help you! Tell me in the comments below your tips!*

When your little one is just in a so-tired-but-can't-sleep-mood these are some Helpful Tips on what I do to help Stella get a better sleep.
Lavender is Love!
I absolutely love lavender anything!
Lavender Wen hair products,
and Lavender Epson Salt.

Bath Time!
Usually about an hour or so before I set her down for bed I get  her bath ready.
Fill up that tub put that Epson Salt in there and throw them in the tub.
(DO NOT LITERALLY THROW IN TUB)lol
Turn on that YouTube and play some calming meditation while you give them a bath.
My favorite bath time song is HERE.
After she plays around for a bit I put the Conditioner in her hair and give her a head massage.
This loosens up her sinus's. Plus if you're using the Lavender Conditioner it give a tiny tingly smell.

After Bath Time!
Get what ever lotion you use.
I personally made my own lotion so if you want to do the same go HERE.
Give your little one a body massage!
Especially if they are going through some growing pains this helps wonders!
It loosens their muscles and relaxes their mind.

Time For Bed!
After all that soothing, before you set the little one down pour 2 or 3 drops of
the Essential Oil on the bed.
As they lay in their bed play some bedtime music.
For this I usually play classical music such as Mozart or Beethoven.
This one is my FAVORITE.
Also read to them! Your baby's imagination is running wild and they love to hear your voice and learn the tones.
My personal favorite is Oh The Places You'll Go by Dr. Suess.

I hope this helps you as much as is does me!
Tell me what you do!
Thanks for reading!

The Feel Good Blogging Challenge: Day 4- 10 Things That You Didn't Know About Me

Okay lets jump to it! 10 random things that you probably didn't know about me.

1. Deep down inside I want to be a Ghost Hunter. That's right I'm totally interested in the paranormal. I like all sorts of activity, even ufo's, whether it be good or bad I've always wanted to investigate something and get my own evidence. At the same time I'm a little sissy about it!

2. Oh boy do I love me some History!
History of ALL religion. I especially love Egyptology.
I also like history tragedies hence, the Black Plague and the Holocaust.

3. No lie, I legitimately believed for most of my childhood
that my mother was a Werewolf .
That's right, a full blown turns into a scary dog
and eats rabbits to survive type of Werewolf.

4. The gorier the better. I can handle all sorts of horror in movies.

5. I also wanted to be a spy.
All that action and being able to do ninja like things, hell yeah.
 High tech gadgets? I'm in!

6.I'm a big animal lover! In high school I was in the Vet-Tech Program.

7. I met my boyfriend, Arsenio, through myspace. :)

8. So with my dad way back when,
when I was just a little chillin',
we were on the Subway's in New York,
I would ask random strangers if they missed their mommy.
Yupp, I was on vacation with my dad and I was missing my mom
and
I guess I wanted to know if  I wasn't the only one lol.

9. I'm a Twilight fan. Exactly I love Twilight!
I'm more in love with the books than the movies,
 but I still like them.
I'm not the crazy Twihard fan though,
so don't get me confused with that lol.
I think Stephanie Meyer is an awesome author and
I look forward to reading more of her books.

10. I stole Stella's name from my mom
She originally wanted to name her next daughter Stella (I did too),
but she had it set long before I did.
Plus I still have yet to see that movie....

Thanks for reading! Have anything in common? Tell me below!

The Feel Good Blogging Challenge: Day 3- How To Make The Everything Cleaner!

I love this cleaner hands down. When I say it's for everything, I mean for everything!

I was introduced to this about 5 years ago, and since then I haven't turned away.

First things first!
Collect them citus peels!
Use any you prefer, lime, orange, lemon, grapefruit
you name it it works and smells wonders.
Find a glass jar and put those peels in it. Fill it all the way up!

And Then!
Fill up the jar with either Apple Cider Vinegar or White Vinegar.
I use ACV.
Also make sure you mark the date for when you can start using it.

After Two Weeks...
Of it all soaking together it is ready to be poured into your spraying container.
Then to fill it up some more use water.

This is the one I use. It's almost time to add more!
After this now it's time for your to clean away!

I use it on Everything!
-Gotta clean that tub?
No problem.
I spray first, then cover the tub up in some baking soda
and spray the Cleaner over it.
Let it soak for 15 mins.
And Bam with a tad bit of elbow grease that tub is clean!

-Even on mirrors!
I know right?
Makes them spotless.

Hope you enjoyed this post! Do you too use this? Tell me you thoughts.

Much Love,
Sara Litardo

The Feel Good Blogging Challenge: Day 2- My Passion?

Do I Have a Passion?

So, after sitting here having a conversation with my mom, I've come up with a conclusion. I don't know what I am passionate about... I know right,,. like wtf. Who isn't passionate about something? I mean, there are things I wish to be more passionate about. Such as my photography. I have a awesome camera waiting to be taken out into the world, just no charger, and no funds at the moment to get a new charger. Sucks right? But who am I to complain. I do wish to explore the world in all its wonders and travel coast to coast. Surely I will with my family one day. When I think of passion I think of things I want to accomplish in. Maybe that could be a bit of a problem of mine, I look forward to the future too much, maybe I forget the little things I'm passionate about now.
But in this moment I will say I am happy. Maybe as I'm writing this blog I'll discover all sorts of things I'm passionate about, and just simply didn't know it.

I'm Good At...
Seeing the greatness in people. I love seeing people succeed in what ever goal they had. It's something that make's me thrive a little bit each day to do better.

Trust Me I Didn't Forget...
About being a mom. That right there is the bomb. I have unconditional love for my baby girl and to be able to watch her grow into this crazy toddler is amazing. I'm definitely passionate about doing all that I can to make her life all sorts of fun.
Actually, being a mom to Stella is probably where all my passion stores. I want to do better for myself for the good of Stella. I want her to see me as someone who goes after their dreams and someone who doesn't give up.

In The Mean Time...
I guess you can say I'm still figuring things out. I honestly have no idea what else to say lol.

Hope you guys liked today's blog. I will one day be able to describe my passion to you. It's funny I don't think I've been directly asked this question before so I've never really thought out and answer.

Much Love,
Sara Litardo
